The Laser Treatment Process
The procedure is fast, comfortable, and involves advanced technology to ensure the gem stays in place:
Surface Preparation: Instead of using traditional acidic gels, a low-energy dental laser may be used to "condition" the tooth enamel. This creates a clean, microscopically textured surface that allows for superior adhesion.
Bonding Agent Application: A professional-grade dental composite is placed on the conditioned spot. The laser helps in decontaminating the area, ensuring no bacteria are trapped under the gem.
